Maybe one typical day of the coming year?

Got up about 6:30 this morning, yep work starts for real now! I ate breakfast and then I went with Judith to drive S and D to their school, so that I could get familiar with the way. I'm going to go with her a few more times before I'll drive the kids alone, luckily. Back at home, Judith gave me the shopping list and I walked by myself to Bryan's on California Street and bought the groceries. It was pretty fun! Quite a calm day, I had no much to do. I was supposed to practice driving with Judith but when we arrived in the Golden Gate Park where I was going to drive, I realised that I had forgotten my driving license.. So that will be for another day, unfortunately.
About 2pm Judith and I went downtown to pick up a good friend of her and then we picked up D from school. Katharina (Kate), a german au pair which I met at the airport in SF, called me and asked if I was free. So she came over and we took a walk down to the Presidio Park.
When I came back I went with hostdad (Etienne) to pick up S at her art class on the completely opposite side of the city. We had dinner as soon as we came home, I took a shower and put the tv on (just because I wanted to watch a typical American telecast!). I'm starting to get used to the time difference, I am much less tired at night than last week, finally!
