Aaaaaah wonderful news came to me today : I got my email account back!!! So from now on I can continue my blogging. :D it's funny how small things in life can make you so happy. I was completely lost without my email account, now it feels like I rediscover life.
Actually, I still have one problem, my computer is dead... But now at least I can be connected to the world with my phone, fortunately!
Well, so many things have happened since I wrote my last post! I can't tell about all the things I've been through, but I can give you a quick résumé.
So February 18th I went with the family to Tahoe where they own two appartments just a few steps from the ski trails. It was really nice and very good weather! It was so warm, so some days I preferred to stay at the apartment, to sit in the sun on the balcony and read a book, rather than go skiing. We stayed there for one week and then we drove back to SF.
On Sunday 26th, we had a girls night at Jenny's house (a german au pair) and watched the Oscars. It was quite cool to think that we weren't so far from where the Academy Awards took place. And I must admit that I was pretty proud that a French movie won!
The week after that, was quite a normal week I guess. I've been hanging out a lot with Caroline (the Swedish au pair) and Kate. It has been a very good weather all week, so we have mainly been hanging out in the parc, having pic nics, shopping...
Last week end, Caroline, Kate and I had a nice picnic in the Golden Gate Parc. It was so warm, it felt like summer, it was really great.
Saturday evening we went to Oakland to Johanna's place (Swedish au pair) and had a lovely girls night with two other Swedish au pairs (Emelie and Johanna). On Sunday morning we had a brunch in a café in Oakland before taking the Bart back to SF.
Back in town, Kate and I had a frozen yogurt and just chilled in the sun, in the Parc and then we met Caroline, Johanna, Jenny and Typhaine to have some dinner. Then we went to the cinema to watch "Gone".
Now it's Monday, a new week starts, a quite special one as I'm on my own to take care of the kids (or almost). Judith flew to the United Kingdom last Saturday, for one week. So that means that I'll have a little bit more work than usual this week.
Today I went jogging with Kate for one hour and then we had lunch together at my place. And tonight, Etienne, the kids and I are going to a Japanese restaurant.
I've been here for two months now, it's crazy, time goes so fast, I can't barely follow this speed of the days!
Åååå, vad kul att läsa bloggen igen, jag har verkligen saknat den. Lycka till nu i veckan o försök att få igenom att laga lite god mat åt dem.
ReplyDeleteDe bör lära sig äta lite annorlunda ;-).
Puss, puss...
I'm glad to see that the problems are being resolved, one at a time. Soon you will have your computer working again too...
ReplyDeleteKram!
